MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL DUTIES: The Adjunct Instructor in the Floor Covering Installation class is responsible for providing in-person individualized theory and hands-on instruction to students to prepare them for employment in the Floor Covering Installation field. Areas of instruction include tools and equipment used in the flooring industry, safety, and installation of resilient, hardwood, tile and carpet. The Adjunct Instructor must prepare materials needed for course instruction; facilitate an engaging and focused learning environment; monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation, and submit timely reports. This part-time position is not eligible for benefits and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Scheduled work hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is not a remote work position.

Professor/Professor Dept. of Psychology and Dept. of Latin-US and Linguistics (2 positions) The Department of Psychology and the Department of Chicano Studies, Languages, and Linguistics at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) announce an interdisciplinary search for two faculty positions at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor for the Regents' Research Excellence Program. For the first position, we seek someone with an active program of research in neurocognitive or neurolinguistic approaches to bilingualism that incorporate neuroimaging or neuropsychological populations. For the second position, we seek someone with an active program of research on the social and cultural contexts of bilingualism or on individual differences in bilingualism. Responsibilities include conducting and publishing research, seeking and securing extramural funding, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and serving the department, university, and profession. Salary and startup packages will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Three months of summer salary will be guaranteed for the first three years. Also, those hired at the Professor level will be given the title Regents' Distinguished Research Professor, and those hired at the Associate Professor level will be given that title upon promotion to the rank of Professor. Research Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2 positions) The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) School of Pharmacy is seeking to recruit two non-tenure track Research Assistant Professors on 3-year contracts in all areas of clinical pharmacy research as part of the UTEP Regents' Research Excellence Program (RREP). The RREP program aims to enhance the research competitiveness of the UT System and UT institutions. Preference will be given to candidates who will apply their expertise in health disparities in our predominately Hispanic population and utilize clinical settings or clinical datasets. Additionally, preferred candidates will have experience addressing important questions related to population health including access to healthcare, quality of healthcare, medication and treatment adherence, vaccine uptake, and disease prevention studies. Additional areas of preference include: 1) developing and/or improving behavioral interventions that can facilitate improved patient care or service delivery to advance pharmacy practice in the region, 2) pharmacoepidemiological studies to assess the safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness of medications in our population, 3) pharmacy practice research to include the evaluation of new and existing services, 4) workload measurement, 5) pharmacoeconomics, and 6) quality management within our region. Research Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2 positions)

Assistant/Associate Professor in Pharmaceutics and/or Pharmacology The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-track/tenured) in all areas of Pharmaceutics and/or Pharmacology. Areas of preference in pharmacology include immune system pharmacology, cardiovascular pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, systems pharmacology, and pharmacogenomics. Additional areas of preference in pharmaceutics include pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), drug formulation, drug delivery, and innovative bioengineering and 3D printing technologies. Candidates applying their expertise to disease models that are complementary to existing expertise in the region will be considered with the goal of creating synergy and adding new research capabilities. In addition, candidates working in disease models that represent disparities in our majority Hispanic population including diabetes and various forms of cancer would be highly competitive.
