Job Summary
This is a full-time, fiscal year appointment reporting to the Nursing Department Head. The Nursing Clinical Placement Coordinator provides coordinating support to faculty and students for clinical placement.
The coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the procurement of clinical sites for practical learning experiences of students, ensuring clinical contracts are current, participating in preparation of self-study/annual/other reports, and other duties consistent with this role. The coordinator may be credentialed to teach in the classroom and clinical settings.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Identifying and assisting in clinical site selections</li>
<li>Assessment and evaluation of clinical experiences of students</li>
<li>Using the TCPS (HealthStream) system to request and manage clinical placements</li>
<li>Ensure entry of required student and faculty clinical placement information into TCPS</li>
<li>Communicate with partner facilities about clinical placement needs</li>
<li>Schedule student orientation at the start of each term at clinical facilities</li>
<li>Review clinical sites to ensure they meet program and accreditation requirements</li>
<li>Conduct clinical site visits to evaluate the clinical learning experiences of students</li>
<li>Maintain records of all clinical placements</li>
<li>Act as liaison between clinical partners and program</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Registered Nurse License 
</li>
<li>Professional practice as a registered nurse in clinical setting 
</li>
<li>General computer skills. </li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing</li>

Job Summary
This is a part-time position reporting to the Nursing Department Head. The Nursing Lab/Simulation Coordinator provides coordinating support to faculty and academic support to students specifically in the nursing skills and simulation laboratories. The coordinator will be responsible for assisting with skills/simulation evaluations, providing skills remediation for students, participating in preparation of self-study/annual/other reports, and other duties consistent with this role. 
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Assist faculty in preparing, developing, implementing and evaluating, evidence-based simulation scenarios.</li>
<li>Coordinates schedule for student access across the curriculum and facilitates remediation of clinical skills.</li>
<li>Tutor students to connect skills acquisition relevant to professional practice</li>
<li>Provide opportunities for students to access and practice skills in clinical lab</li>
<li>Maintain lab equipment and supplies</li>
<li>Maintains internal/external partnerships and promotes positive image of program.</li>
<li>Maintains records of simulations as needed.</li>
<li>Contributes to the function of the department – participates in department management and governance through department committee participation, and functions as part of the team, participates in orientations, pinning, and other areas.</li>
<li>Community Building – help in community events supporting both faculty and students and supports partnership with external entities.</li>
<li>Other duties as directed by the Department Head.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications

This is a part-time, Adjunct Faculty position in the Department of Health and Natural Sciences. THIS POSTING IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF AN OPEN POSITION. Job Duties

<li>Develops curricula and instructional material such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintains office hours for students seeking academic advice, assists in student recruitment and retention; and assists students with course-related problems outside of the classroom.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintains accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records in compliance with federal FERPA regulations.</li>
<li>Attends all faculty meetings, college assemblies, professional development and orientation activities, and other meetings as called by the President, Dean or Department Chair.</li>
<li>Keeps abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.</li>

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or master’s degree in another discipline with 18 hours of graduate work in the teaching discipline.</li>
<li>Minimum two (2) years teaching experience in higher education or one (1) year teaching experience and three (3) years employment in the field.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of current teaching and learning strategies to facilitate student-centered learning; experience interacting successfully with an ever-growing student population.</li>
<li>Skill in selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.</li>
<li>Ability to integrate technology into course delivery.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.</li>
<li>Willingness and flexibility to teach classes using various instructional delivery methods at any of the four locations.</li>
