ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: A teammate in this position must have the ability to: <ul><li>Conduct special studies in conjunction with an accounting forecasting or cost-saving project and create a final presentation.</li><li>Apply analytics to department policies, protocols, procedures, and special projects.</li><li>Conduct research and analytics on various assignments and make recommendations.</li><li>Prepare project reports, progress summaries, statistical analysis, and related data.</li><li>Analyze specific aspects of department functions and/or operational procedures.</li><li>Analyze, generate, and maintain records and other reference material necessary for departmental use.</li><li>Utilize the network, department specific software, and proprietary software to complete assignments.</li></ul> Other job duties may be assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: A teammate in this position must: <ul><li>Be currently enrolled in a master's degree program.</li><li>Be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.</li><li>Possess proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).</li><li>Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Be able to work full-time from May to August of 2025.</li><li>Be able to work at the South Campus headquarters office in Temple, TX, during the internship.</li></ul> WORKING CONDITIONS: <ul><li>Office environment.</li><li>Needed equipment will be provided by McLane during the internship.</li></ul> PAY: <ul><li>Hourly rate of pay is $26.00.</li></ul> Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
